The Canyon County Spuds have promoted Sean Walsh from Head Coach to General Manager.

Sean will now manage the day-to-day operations, including team recruiting and development. As well as being in charge of special promotions and marketing.  Sean will still be working in the office selling tickets, merch and helping customers in any way that he can. He has proven to be an unselfish leader.

“I’m super excited and thankful for this opportunity. We have a lot of cool promotions planned for the final 14 home games, and we hope to take that momentum into next year,” said GM Sean Walsh. “In the first year, we learned a lot as an organization and we’re ready to finish the year strong and start prepping for next year.”

Fans will now see Sean Walsh in the front concourse and walking around the stadium to make sure that everyone is enjoying the game.

Daylon Dobish will now take over as the Head Coach effective immediately. Now, was the best time to make such a change just in time for a playoff push, which all the guys are wanting to make the playoffs.

The Canyon County Spuds may not host the playoffs this year, but it would be pretty cool for the team to make it and establish the winning culture in the first season.
